How do I get a computer?

Step 1: Go to TechCharities.org

A (nearly) free computer is available from TechCharities for those who qualify.

  •  
  • All individuals and families who are in need qualify for a computer grant.
  • Contact the agency that you work with (such as Catholic Community Services, Work Force Services, BYU Pathway..) and request their endorsement. Or, just come to our office. 
  • Visit our office located at 50 North 600 West, Suite C in Salt Lake City, Ut.
  • Office hours are Mondays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm and Wednesdays by appointment only.

How do I learn to use a computer?

  • Request technical support from friends or neighbors.
  • Contact the agency that you work with and ask if they provide classes or mentors. 
  • Look online for support.  For example, YouTube or go to www.GCFlearnfree.org.
