Microsoft Word 2019 may be provided free for you if you are a student. Or, you may purchase a product key to activate it. If you want a free word processor, Google Docs is one option. Another good option that is free is LibreOffice.
Here are a few suggestions on how to download LibreOffice.
Step One: Find out if your computer has a 64 bit or 32 bit operating system.
Most likely, if you got your computer from TechCharities, it is 64 bit.
Click on the window icon (lower left hand corner), and then click the setting icon
In settings, click on System, and then About
On the About Screen you will see if you have
A 64 or 32 bit operating system.
Step 2: Download and install the program
After you click on download, you can watch the progress by the bar displayed in the lower left hand side of the screen. When it is 100 % downloaded, click on the execute or run link and it will then install the program.
LibreOffice has many of the same features as Microsoft Word.
